Recruiting on behalf of a client, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician with both electrical and mechanical qualifications/experience to join a dynamic engineering team based in Brigg. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a modern manufacturing environment with a strong focus on continuous improvement, safety, and reliability.
Shifts: 4 on / 4 off (2 days, 2 nights) | 6AM-6PM / 6PM-6AM
Key Responsibilities:
·Respond to breakdowns in both electrical and mechanical areas quickly and safely to minimise downtime.
·Collaborate with Quality Technicians to ensure machines are process-capable and meet specification requirements.
·Perform ancillary activities such as welding, grinding, wiring, and general fabrication to support maintenance and project needs.
·Execute preventative maintenance tasks as scheduled to ensure equipment reliability.
·Complete statutory checks and servicing of equipment/facilities to meet legislative standards.
·Work closely with Production Operators to improve processes and equipment performance.
·Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
·Promote and practice safe working behaviors and systems at all times.
·Participate in ad-hoc engineering projects as required.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
·Proven experience working within a manufacturing or production environment.
·Multi-skilled with strong electrical and mechanical knowledge (qualified or time-served).
·Proactive, self-motivated, and trustworthy with a strong sense of ownership.
·Logical thinker with a structured approach to problem-solving.
·Demonstrates a performance-driven attitude with resilience and a willingness to learn.
·Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
