Plumbing and Heating Engineer

We're on the lookout for a talented Plumbing and Heating Engineer to join a thriving mechanical team on behalf of our fantastic client!
This is a brilliant opportunity for a skilled and dependable engineer to become part of a well-established team, working across a variety of commercial and industrial sites. You'll get stuck into everything from exciting installation projects to responsive maintenance and call-outs-no two days will be the same!
Who we're looking for:
A qualified plumbing and heating professional with solid experience in commercial or industrial environments. You'll take pride in your work, have an eye for detail, and consistently deliver top-quality results with a professional approach.
What you'll be doing:
·Diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, and completing refurbishment and maintenance work across a range of mechanical systems
·Installing plumbing and heating systems to high standards, in line with current regulations
·Carrying out domestic gas installations safely and compliantly
·Completing all relevant documentation clearly and accurately
·Inspecting and testing both new and existing systems, and submitting the necessary certificates
·Keeping tidy records of work, materials used, and time spent
·Supporting apprentices through mentoring and guidance
·Attending training to stay ahead with industry updates and compliance
·Collaborating with other trades to get the job done efficiently
What you'll need:
·NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing & Heating (with domestic gas)
·Hands-on experience in commercial or industrial plumbing/heating
·A full, clean UK driving licence
Bonus points for:
·Commercial gas qualifications
·Fault-finding experience
·iPAF and PASMA certification
