Atrium Recruitment, a leading recruitment company specializing in the Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) sector, is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Estimator for our esteemed client, a well-established M&E Contractor. This opportunity is ideal for an individual with experience in estimating electrical projects within the commercial, educational, and industrial sectors.

Job Responsibilities:

As an Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for:

  • Project Analysis: Conducting thorough analysis of project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents to determine the scope of electrical works.

  • Estimation: Accurately estimating the cost of electrical components and labor required for commercial, educational, and industrial projects.

  • Bid Preparation: Preparing comprehensive and competitive bids in collaboration with the project management and engineering teams.

  • Cost Management: Monitoring and managing project costs throughout the estimation process, ensuring alignment with budgetary constraints.

  • Vendor Negotiation: Collaborating with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes and negotiate favorable terms.

  • Risk Assessment: Identifying and assessing potential risks associated with electrical projects and proposing mitigation strategies.

  • Client Interaction: Engaging with clients to understand their requirements, providing clarification on estimates, and building strong relationships.

  • Continuous Improvement: Staying updated on industry trends, material costs, and construction methodologies to enhance the accuracy of estimations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator in the M&E sector, with a focus on commercial, educational, and industrial projects.

  • Proficiency in estimation software and strong analytical skills.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

  • Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry best practices.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
